Local pastor returns to ministry in Bermuda

From Bermuda Source:

Following an almost two-year absence, beloved Pastor, Gary Simons made a triumphant return to ministry in Bermuda on Sunday as Head Pastor of the new GracePoint Church, which held its inaugural service at the Elbow Beach Hotel.

The parking facility was filled and overflowing as jubilant attendees arrived by the dozens for the opening service. Indeed, the prayers of the faithful who petitioned God for almost two years were finally answered in commanding fashion.

The atmosphere was positively energized as Pastor Gary and his wife approached the podium and took turns addressing the congregation, encouraging them to experience the grace of God together and serving alongside one another as they all embark upon this new path. The seating capacity was quite limited and so the hall was completely full. Those who arrived late filled a small overflow. It is certain that numbers will increase in the coming weeks.

More information on GracePoint Church, including services will be provided by ministry officials in the coming weeks. For those who would like to attend services, they will commence at 10am. Due to an overwhelming response on Sunday, Pastor Gary is making plans for two services to be announced later. If you have kids, the nursery staff are on hand to cater to the young ones, while the adults worship.

next Sunday, January 12, Pastor Gary will begin a series of messages entitled, ‘Identity Theft’. That is to say, 'Know who you are in Christ'. Suffice to say that the new ministry has hit the ground running! We sincerely wish Pastor Gary, his wife Belle and the entire ministry team of GracePoint Church immeasurable success. By the Grace of God.
